| Arroyo Rojo - 1566 N. Great Falls Drive, Washington UT |
Our first impression of the Arroyo Rojo, located as far down Green Springs Drive as you can go, was "well, this is pretty typical St. George architecture." One story rambler. A mix of stucco and stone. The blurb in the Parade of Homes book describes the exterior as "Southwest-Tuscan"; yeah, a fitting description that covers about 90% of Washington County, Utah.
The front entry was stunning, though - one of our favorite highlights of the home. Crisp contemporary colors, lovely semi-circle design in the tile work, and a super modern brushed nickel and linen shade chandelier. Ah, we love contemporary design and there's a distinct lack of it around these parts.

| Beautiful booties complement the contemporary tile, no? |
| Glory divine, that chandelier is fine. |
| Unique tile design upon entry. Mmm, yes please. |
We disagreed on our love/hate for this focal wall in the living room. I LOVE the light hardwood media center, the contemporary glass fusion, and the cosmic accessories. Zak hated the asymmetry. Ya win some, ya lose some.
| Master bedroom - good size. Nothing to sneeze at. |
| Super contemporary brushed nickel industrial light fixtures in the master bath. Can't ask for anything more than that, really. |
Zak enjoys water falling from the Heavens. Rain shower head.
The Verdict:

I'm with you, Sonja, on the asymmetry.
ReplyDeleteThank you! :) Are you guys attending the Parade of Homes this year too, by the way?
